Each slice contains a “porkka,” or bean, which adds to the spicy nature of the dish. A delicious and filling meal, the Farfalla is served on the Premio Zuppini with a slice of Farfalla and a cup of chilled Viatchi d’Asti (iced milk) for an authentic Tuscan feel.
Step 6: Farfalla Citta’ Di Lhucca 16. Another delicious way to enjoy the Farfalla is with a delicious Citta Lucchese. from sheep milk, the Citta’ Di Lhucca is in the same way as the Farfalla, but it contains a different mushroom. Rather than the traditional tomato, this mushroom is covered with tomato paste. The most famous Citta’ di Lhucca comes from the region of Comino, but it can also be found in Campionato, Pignolo and parts of Lombardy.
Step 7: Fin Ragazzi. Far from being just an Italian name, the name Fin Ragazzi actually means “small fish.” In Veneto, this dish is called Prima Donna (local delicacy), but it actually means “little fish.” This delicious pastry is served with fresh local fruit, such as pears and dates, or with a mix of different local fruits. If you want a more complex dish, you can have a Fin Ragazzi that has Farfalla Citta as well, but that would be a different entree.
