Francis Hans Jorie

Founder and President
My first stint with public life occurred when I served as a clerical assistant to the Torto commission in 1969. This commission was set up to make an investigative enquiry into the affairs of the Kumasi City Council. moved on after the commission  has completed it’s findings to later joined a marine company known as Alfa Lines West Africa, as a marine cadet served for three years and transferred to British Petroleum Company served in various ratings around the world. Moved to the UK, London to be precise and later to joined Sketchleys ltd., in the dry cleaning industry as a branch manager for five years. Returned to Ghana in 1982 to later joined st. Ossie International a fashion Designing firm a manager of their Accra sales outlet and eventually branch out to setup own Video Library establishment .Engaged few workers to run the video libraries both in Accra and Tema as I got engaged by Tusks and Page Praesidium Company Ltd a Nigerian Company in the Water and Electricity Industry as it’s Marketing Executive in Ghana. Currently combines being a co-founder and President of an NGO called C2YA International ORG. with it’s objectives in the areas of The Youths, Women and the Environment. In order to sustain and maintain the operations of the NGO we found it expedient to establish the C2YA Services ltd ., to provide services in the areas of Real Estate, Security and Private Assistance Escort Services to Visiting Chief Executives and various services

Dr. Henry Appiah

Co-Founder/International Co-ordinator

Dr. Henry Appiah, Co-Founder/International Co-ordinator City 2000 Youth Action International. Dr. Henry Appiah received his education in the field of Analytical Chemistry and Holistic health medicine. He is a health & Wellness Consultant and a University Lecturer.

Mr. John Donkor

Director for Operations and Programs
Mr. John Kofi Donkor is the Director of Operations and Programs at C2YA International. He has worked for over 21 years across the public, private, commercial and not-for-profit sectors with focus on renewable energy, aquatic, resource mobilization and biogas in Ghana and beyond. Mr John has a long truck success in working with complex groups of stakeholders from both public and the private sectors. Mr John is an Aquarist by Profession and the CEO of Aquarium Marshall and Business Ventures. He is the Marketing Director of Africa Renewable Energy Technology and the Co-owner and CEO of Aquatic Beach Bar and Grill and doubles as the Organizing Secretary of Biogas Association of Ghana(BAG). He is a Graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST), with immense hand on aquatic related jobs, such as commercial and domestic aquariums and swimming pools with their related accessories. A business man with a touch-on in the hospitality industry and a passion for renewable stuffs with bias for Bio digesters to mitigate the release of methane gas in to the atmosphere.

Raphael Asamoah

Director for Research & Policy Development

Raphael Asamoah serves as the Director for Research & Policy Development (R&D) at C2YA International. He provides technical and managerial oversight to all research and policy development programs and assist with M&E activities as designed by the organisation, donors and international partners.

He comes on board with a wealth of experience in the area of research, analysis, risk assessment and knowledge management within the NGO sector and other sectors as well. Raphael is driven by a desire to help organizations deliver programs with the greatest level of relevance, impact, efficiency, sustainability, and accountability possible.

Before Raphael joined C2YA International, he has worked with the M&E department of National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) as a Senior Disaster Control Officer, Megamind Consult as a Research Officer, Quality Control Division (Cocobod) as an Account Clerk and Data collection officer for a number of organisations on part -time basis. He currently serves as a Board Member of New Generation Era School located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

Raphael holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Banking and Finance from University of Ghana Business School, a Master of Art (MA) in Economic Policy Management from University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. He also holds short course certificates in Project Management, Anti-Money Laundering, Strategic and Tactical Analysis and financial Investigations.

Abena Dove

International Co-ordinator

Is a social change maker. A former President and CEO of a multi-million dollar representative and advocacy organisation – representing 80,000 people, former board member of national youth representative organisations and her own universities billion dollar board. She has worked as an advisor and the Australian Red Cross Humanitarian Service and in their national Mobilisation and Social Change team and a ‘Social Change Designer & Community Builder’ developing creating and testing programs & offerings to engage people in humanitarian action, better address humanitarian issues and create programs that better serve people in need of humanitarian support. 

Today at 27 Abena is going out on her own to use her voice and acquired skills to help create & amplify change making movements in creating a platform to engage people in what is going on the world and potential viable solutions via engaging video content.
